This makes direct wire ballast bypass T8 tubes very versatile making installation possible in any traditional fluorescent T8 fixture. Direct wire ballast bypass T8 offer the advantage of reduced maintenance costs associated with replacing ballasts since the fixture’s ballast is no longer part of the system.
