American Lighting HTL-COBFC-NW-16 3 W/ft 16.4' Under Cabinet Strip Light
$510.99Key Features and Benefits of This LED Strip Light
A 90 CRI (Color Rendering Index) matters because it helps countertop and food prep colors appear true to life, more accurate than budget strip lighting. Running at 3W per foot on low-voltage 24V power keeps energy use modest across the full 16.4-foot length.
Where to Use the HTL-COBFC-NW-16 Strip Light
Well suited to under-cabinet kitchen lighting, workbenches, and closets where consistent task lighting is needed. It is rated for damp locations, so it handles typical kitchen humidity, but it is not rated for direct wet or outdoor exposure.
Installation and Compatibility Checks
Operates on low-voltage 24V power, requiring a compatible driver sized to the strip's total wattage. IP54 protection guards against dust and light moisture splashes but is not a substitute for a wet location fixture. Confirm the mounting surface length matches the 16.4-foot strip before installing.
Additional Buying Context
Rated for 50,000 hours of average use and cULus listed, giving buyers a documented safety certification and long service life estimate. The 16.4-foot length is sized for standard kitchen runs, a useful reference against shorter or longer options in American Lighting's strip series.
