Galaxy Lighting L650901BN016A1 16W Brushed Nickel Flush Mount
$170.99Key Features and Benefits of This LED Flush Mount
Integrated LED technology delivers 1600 lumens from a single 16 watt fixture, reducing energy use compared to older incandescent flush mounts of similar output. Dimmable compatibility allows adjustable brightness with a suitable dimmer switch, and a CRI of 80 supports reasonably accurate color rendering for everyday living spaces.
Where to Use the L650901BN016A1 Flush Mount
This flush mount is rated for dry indoor locations such as bedrooms, hallways, closets, and living rooms with low ceiling clearance. It is not rated for damp or wet areas, so avoid installing it in bathrooms with direct shower exposure or in uncovered outdoor spaces.
Installation and Compatibility Checks
Confirm the ceiling junction box matches the fixture's 13 inch by 13 inch mounting footprint before installation. If dimming is desired, verify the dimmer switch is rated for LED loads to avoid flickering. Check the fixture's 3.5 inch profile against ceiling clearance in low-ceiling rooms.
Additional Buying Context
The brushed nickel finish on the L650901BN016A1 suits updates to existing brushed nickel hardware throughout a home, making it a straightforward swap for dated flush mounts. Its integrated LED design means no separate bulb purchase is needed, simplifying both the initial order and future maintenance.
