Leviton 49M53-C Single Pole M Rhino Connector
$546.99Key Features and Benefits of This Cam-Type Connector
Built with an aluminum body and silver-plated high-conductivity alloy contacts, this connector handles heavy current loads while resisting corrosion in demanding environments. It carries UL certification recognized in both Canada and the United States, along with CSA and CE marks, supporting use across cross-border industrial projects.
Where to Use the 49M53-C Cam Connector
This connector suits temporary power distribution on job sites, event staging, portable generators, and other industrial or outdoor setups requiring quick-connect, high-amperage cable runs. It is intended for use by qualified electricians familiar with cam-lock systems, not general household wiring or low-voltage applications.
Installation and Compatibility Checks
This male connector requires a crimping tool sized for 535 MCM cable and must be paired with a compatible 49 Series female connector for a secure, rated connection. Confirm cable size matches the connector before crimping, and verify the mating connector shares the same voltage and current rating.
Additional Buying Context
Because cam-type connectors are typically sold individually, confirm you have matching male and female ends along with correctly sized cable before checkout. This connector suits contractors regularly setting up temporary power for events, construction sites, or emergency generator hookups. Check with Lumenco for current warranty coverage on this part.
