Leviton ARC60BA045 Gray Pin and Sleeve Inlet
$574.99Key Features and Benefits of This Pin and Sleeve Inlet
As a switch-rated device it works as a local disconnect, rated for branch circuit and motor circuit disconnect use, and it can be de-energized without exposing live components. The seal holds whether connected or disconnected. A lockout hole supports lockout/tagout, and exposed plastics are UV stabilized.
Where to Use the ARC60BA045 Pin and Sleeve Inlet
This inlet suits industrial equipment that needs a built-in local means of disconnect, which Leviton ties to NEC and OSHA requirements. Its washdown rating and operating range of minus 20 to 60 degrees Celsius fit demanding plant conditions. It is not a household device, so use it only within its ratings.
Installation and Compatibility Checks
Confirm your supply is 277 volts, 1P+N+G (single pole, neutral, and ground), and that the mating plug or receptacle is a matching ArcArrest device. Terminals accept 8 AWG to 4 AWG conductors. Leviton notes the FD box is sold separately, and other mounting details are not listed, so review the installation sheet.
Additional Buying Context
A 1-year limited manufacturer warranty applies. Dimensions are about 4.63 by 5.80 by 3.99 inches, which helps when planning enclosure space. Specification and installation sheets are available on the product page, and installation should be done by a qualified electrician.
