Livex Lighting

Key Features and Benefits of This Chandelier

Fifteen individual candelabra sockets spread the 900-watt total load across the fixture, giving even illumination suited to larger rooms and higher ceilings. Teardrop crystals refract light for subtle sparkle without an overly ornate look, which fits both traditional and updated colonial interiors.

Where to Use the 40879-05 Chandelier

This chandelier suits dining rooms, entry foyers, and stairwells with enough ceiling height for its 34-inch drop. Its damp-location rating also allows use in covered porches or well-ventilated bathrooms. It is not rated for wet or fully exposed exterior locations.

Installation and Compatibility Checks

The fixture uses fifteen candelabra-base (B10-style) bulbs rated up to 60 watts each, so LED candelabra bulbs are a simple swap for lower running costs. Confirm your ceiling junction box and mounting hardware can support the fixture's 36-inch by 36-inch spread before installation. No smart controls are integrated.

Additional Buying Context

Livex Lighting includes installation documentation with the Daphne chandelier, and its damp-location rating adds flexibility for humid rooms as well as living and dining spaces. It suits buyers wanting a crystal-accented centerpiece fixture with traditional colonial styling.
