Key Features and Benefits of This Semi-Flush Mount

This fixture takes two candelabra-base bulbs rated up to 60 watts each, giving flexible brightness for hallways or low-ceiling rooms. Its low 4.5-inch profile suits spaces where a pendant would hang too low. The antique brass finish and modern styling work with a range of existing decor palettes.

Where to Use the 56570-01 Semi-Flush Mount

This fixture suits hallways, bedrooms, closets, and low-ceiling rooms needing close ceiling lighting, and its damp rating extends it to covered porches or mudrooms. The manufacturer also lists it for wall mounting where a compact sconce-style fixture is needed. It is not rated for direct wet exposure.

Installation and Compatibility Checks

This fixture mounts to a standard ceiling or wall electrical box and takes candelabra-base bulbs, sold separately, so confirm wattage does not exceed 60 watts per socket. Its damp rating suits covered but not fully enclosed wet areas. Check ceiling box weight rating and clearance for the 15-inch width before ordering.

Additional Buying Context

The dual mounting option makes this Ventura fixture useful for renovation projects where either a ceiling or wall installation is needed without buying two separate fixtures. Pair it with dimmable candelabra bulbs for adjustable light levels, and confirm current warranty terms with Lumenco before purchasing for larger multi-unit projects.
