Key Features and Benefits of This Wall Sconce

The exposed bulb design lets buyers choose a decorative filament bulb to reinforce the mid-century look, rather than hiding the light source behind a shade. The two-tone brushed nickel and black finish coordinates with mixed-metal hardware already common in modern loft interiors.

Where to Use the 46422-91 Wall Sconce

This sconce suits mid-century modern living rooms, hallways, and bathrooms where accent lighting is wanted. Its damp location rating allows bathroom use, though it is not intended for direct water exposure or fully exposed outdoor installations.

Installation and Compatibility Checks

The sconce mounts to a standard wall junction box and uses a medium base socket rated up to 60 watts. Since the bulb is exposed rather than covered by a shade, a decorative LED bulb is recommended for both appearance and efficiency. Confirm the box supports wall-mounted fixtures before installation.

Additional Buying Context

The Modesto's compact 12 inch by 14 inch profile makes it a practical option for hallways or bathrooms with limited wall space. Because it uses a replaceable medium base bulb, buyers can update the exposed bulb style over time without replacing the fixture itself.
