Key Features and Benefits of This Outdoor Wall Lantern

Four candelabra sockets sharing a 240-watt total load deliver strong, even light across a wide entry, better suited to large doorways than single-bulb sconces. Seeded glass diffuses light softly while adding subtle texture that plain clear glass does not provide. Solid brass resists long-term outdoor corrosion.

Where to Use the 2559-07 Outdoor Wall Lantern

This large-scale lantern suits grand entrances, two-story porches, and wide exterior walls needing a damp/wet-rated statement fixture. Its 46.5-inch height requires generous wall clearance, so measure before installing. It is not intended for compact entries where a smaller single-bulb lantern would be more proportionate.

Installation and Compatibility Checks

The fixture uses four candelabra-base (E12) bulbs rated to 60 watts each, allowing LED candelabra replacements. Confirm the wall box and surrounding trim can accommodate a 16-inch by 46.5-inch fixture before purchase. No integrated dimming or smart controls are included.

Additional Buying Context

Livex Lighting provides installation documentation with the Amwell lantern, and its damp/wet-location rating suits exposed exterior walls across Canadian seasons. It is well suited to buyers seeking a large, traditional bronze fixture to anchor an entrance with significant architectural presence.
