Key Features and Benefits of This Outdoor Ceiling Mount

Two candelabra-base sockets split the 120-watt total load, giving even light across a porch ceiling without relying on one oversized bulb. The compact 7-inch height keeps the fixture close to the ceiling, useful for lower porch clearances. Clear glass panels let more light through than frosted alternatives.

Where to Use the 20588-04 Outdoor Ceiling Mount

This flush mount suits covered porches, breezeways, and carports where a damp-location ceiling fixture is needed. Its low 7-inch profile works well under standard porch ceiling heights. Because it is damp-rated rather than wet-rated, it should stay under cover rather than face direct rain.

Installation and Compatibility Checks

The fixture mounts flush to the ceiling and uses two candelabra-base bulbs rated up to 60 watts each. Confirm the ceiling junction box supports an 8-inch by 8-inch fixture footprint. Standard LED candelabra bulbs can typically replace incandescent ones without additional hardware.

Additional Buying Context

Livex Lighting supplies an installation sheet with this ceiling mount, and the damp-location rating suits sheltered exterior areas year-round. It is a practical match for homeowners updating an outdoor flush mount to pair with the matching Nyack wall lantern.
