Lotus LED LRG3-3018K-HO-WH 11W 3" White Recessed Light
Key Features and Benefits of This Recessed Light
A 90 CRI rating renders colors accurately, useful in kitchens and bathrooms where true color matters. The 38 degree beam angle directs light where needed rather than spreading it broadly. Being air tight without housing needed, it reduces air leakage through the ceiling, which can help with energy efficiency.
Where to Use the LRG3-3018K-HO-WH Recessed Light
This fixture's wet location rating makes it suitable for bathrooms, showers, and covered outdoor soffits or porch ceilings exposed to moisture. Its gimbal design also allows it to aim light toward artwork or a specific area of a room rather than straight down only.
Installation and Compatibility Checks
This fixture fits a standard 3 inch trim opening and does not require a separate housing, simplifying retrofit installation. It is dimmable, but compatibility should be confirmed with the specific dimmer switch used. Its operating range of -40°C to 40°C makes it suitable for covered outdoor soffits in most Canadian climates.
Additional Buying Context
A 5 year manufacturer's warranty and cULus listing back this fixture, giving buyers a longer coverage window than many basic recessed lights. Its dual color temperature option and airtight, housing free design make it a practical retrofit choice for updating older recessed cans without major ceiling work.
