Maxim Lighting FRD24BK-MA Black 24" Down Rod For Ceiling Fan
$52.99Key Features and Benefits of This Down Rod
The 24-inch length lets installers set a fan lower from a tall ceiling, which matters for airflow since fans work best hung 8 to 9 feet above the floor. Its matte black finish is designed to match Maxim's Tanker fan series for a cohesive look.
Where to Use the FRD24BK-MA Down Rod
This rod suits homes with tall or vaulted ceilings where a flush-mount fan would sit too high to move air effectively. It is compatible with damp-rated fan installations, including covered porches or three-season rooms.
Installation and Compatibility Checks
This down rod is designed specifically for Maxim Lighting's Tanker ceiling fan series and is not a universal fit. Confirm your Tanker fan model and ceiling height before ordering to select the correct rod length for proper clearance.
Additional Buying Context
It is also available in a matching Satin Nickel finish for buyers with different Tanker fan finishes. Choosing the down rod at purchase time avoids a second shipment later when finalizing fan height for a specific room.
