Maxim Lighting

Key Features and Benefits of This Outdoor Wall Mount

The wet location rating means this fixture can be mounted where it faces direct rain or snow, which matters for entry doors and garages without roof overhangs. Dimmable operation lets homeowners set exterior lighting to a comfortable brightness rather than a single fixed level. Its compact 5.5-inch by 8.5-inch size suits standard exterior junction boxes.

Where to Use the 1025WT Wall Mount

This fixture is wet-location rated, making it a fit for exposed exterior walls at front doors, garages, and side entries. Its traditional White styling suits classic or colonial exteriors. It is designed for outdoor use, not interior rooms.

Installation and Compatibility Checks

The fixture is dimmable, so a compatible dimmer switch is needed to use that feature. It takes one E26 medium-base A19 bulb up to 60W, which is not included. Since it is wet-location rated, it can be installed on exposed exterior walls without additional weatherproof covers.

Additional Buying Context

The Builder Cast 1025WT is cETLus listed, confirming it meets recognized safety standards for wet outdoor locations. As part of Maxim's Builder Cast collection, it is designed as an economical, readily available option for replacing basic entry or garage lighting.
