Key Features and Benefits of This Wall Sconce

Dimmable compatibility matters because it lets buyers set the light level for reading, relaxing, or accent lighting from one fixture. The damp location rating extends its use beyond dry indoor rooms to covered outdoor areas and bathrooms, adding flexibility over dry-rated sconces.

Where to Use the AXE8605BN Axel Sconce

This sconce suits hallways, living rooms, and bathrooms as accent lighting, and its damp location rating also allows use on covered porches. It is not rated for direct exposure to rain or shower spray, so keep it away from wet locations.

Installation and Compatibility Checks

The Axel mounts to a standard wall electrical box on a 120V circuit and takes one bulb up to 100 watts, sold separately. For dimming, use an LED compatible dimmer if installing LED bulbs, as the fixture's incandescent rated hardware may not pair well with all dimmer types.

Additional Buying Context

Quoizel backs the Axel with a 1 year manufacturer warranty. Because bulbs are sold separately, plan to add a compatible medium base bulb rated up to 100 watts, choosing LED if you also intend to dim the fixture.
