Savoy House DR-36-171 Burnished Brass 36" Downrod
$79.99Key Features and Benefits of This Downrod
Extending a fan's mounting height by 36 inches brings it closer to the ideal 8 to 9 feet above the floor, improving air circulation in rooms with vaulted or high ceilings. The burnished brass finish is designed to match Savoy House fans using the same finish, avoiding a mismatched look.
Where to Use the DR-36-171 Downrod
This downrod suits living rooms, great rooms, and other indoor spaces with ceilings taller than standard 8-foot height where a flush-mount fan would sit too high to move air effectively. It is dry rated, so it is intended for interior use rather than covered porches or outdoor patios.
Installation and Compatibility Checks
This downrod is compatible with Savoy House ceiling fans that accept a standard downrod connection, so confirm the specific fan model supports downrod mounting before ordering. It requires minimal assembly and should be paired with a fan in a matching or complementary finish for a cohesive look.
Additional Buying Context
Savoy House offers this downrod in multiple finishes and lengths beyond the 36-inch burnished brass version, so buyers with taller ceilings or a different fan finish can find a matching option. UL and CUL approval gives added confidence in the hardware's electrical safety for indoor installation.
