Elite ELM-830 White 5W Single Remote Head

Single Remote Emergency Lamp Head by Elite

The ELM-830 from Elite is a single remote lamp head designed for emergency lighting systems. It is suitable for interior spaces, with a damp location rating. Key features include a 5W lamp rating, a 6V rating, and a white finish.

Key Features and Benefits of This Remote Lamp Head

A remote head extends emergency illumination beyond the main unit, so light can be placed where it is needed. At 5W and 6V, it is a lower-load option than the 9W and 12V heads in the same Elite remote head range, which matters when sizing the supply.

Where to Use the ELM-830 Remote Lamp Head

This remote head is well suited for interior spaces where an emergency lighting system needs an added lighting point, including areas with some moisture. The damp location rating does not cover wet locations, and Elite lists separate wet-rated remote heads for those.

Installation and Compatibility Checks

A remote head does not work on its own. Before purchasing, confirm your emergency unit or battery supply outputs 6V and can support a 5W lamp, since this head is listed at 6V and 5W. Lamp type, mounting, and dimensions are not published, so check the Elite specification sheet.

Additional Buying Context

Elite also lists the double-head ELM-833 with the same 6V and 5W rating, plus 9W and 12V options. Certifications and warranty are not listed for this model, so verify both before specifying it on a project governed by code.
