Key Features and Benefits of This Edge-Lit LED Surface Mount

Five selectable color temperatures, from 2700K to 5000K, let you match the light to the room without ordering a different model. A CRI (Color Rendering Index) of 90 or higher keeps colors accurate. The dimmable design and slim 7/8-inch profile suit ceilings where a recessed cut is not practical.

Where to Use the NLOS-R42L Edge-Lit LED Surface Mount

This surface mount works well where recessed housings are difficult to install, such as finished ceilings or renovation projects. The page lists no wet or damp location rating, so treat it as an indoor fixture and confirm suitability with the manufacturer before using it in bathrooms or outdoors.

Installation and Compatibility Checks

The fixture mounts over standard or fire-rated junction boxes and runs on 120V. Because it is dimmable, confirm your dimmer is compatible with the fixture. Operating temperature is listed as 0°C to 45°C, so avoid unheated or very hot spaces. Verify the 4-inch trim fits your layout.

Additional Buying Context

The fixture is cETLus listed and carries FCC and Energy Star marks. The manufacturer provides a 5-year warranty. The page notes the series also comes in other sizes and shapes, so confirm you are ordering the 4-inch version for this SKU.
