Rod Chandeliers

Key Features and Benefits of This Chandelier

The open hoop design keeps exposed bulbs visible, which matters because it lets homeowners choose decorative Edison-style bulbs to set the room's tone. Chain-hung construction allows the fixture height to be adjusted, which matters for sloped or high ceilings. Dimmable operation gives buyers flexible ambience control at the switch.

Where to Use the 1-308-8-44 Middleton Chandelier

This chandelier is rated for dry indoor locations, making it a fit for dining rooms, living rooms, bedrooms, kitchens, and foyers. Its farmhouse styling suits open-concept or transitional interiors. It is not rated for damp or outdoor installation.

Installation and Compatibility Checks

The fixture is dimmable, so a compatible incandescent or LED-compatible dimmer is required to use that feature. It takes eight E12-base bulbs up to 60W each (480W total), which are not included, and its chain-hung design accommodates variable ceiling heights. Confirm your electrical box supports the fixture's 33-inch by 25-inch size before ordering.

Additional Buying Context

The Middleton chandelier is UL/CUL listed for dry locations, giving buyers assurance it meets recognized North American safety standards. Since it accepts both incandescent and LED bulbs, homeowners can switch to LED bulbs later for lower energy use without replacing the fixture.
