Key Features and Benefits of This Outdoor Wall Lantern

Solid brass construction holds up to exterior exposure better than lightweight stamped metals, which matters for long-term outdoor durability. The beveled glass panels catch and refract light from the single 100-watt bulb, adding visual depth that flat glass lanterns lack.

Where to Use the 2151-07 Outdoor Wall Lantern

This lantern suits front doors, side entries, and covered porches on traditional or colonial-style homes needing a damp/wet-rated fixture. Its compact 13-inch height fits standard entry door sconce spacing. It is not intended for fully exposed installations beyond typical exterior wall placement.

Installation and Compatibility Checks

The fixture accepts one medium-base bulb rated to 100 watts, so LED replacements install without modification. Confirm your exterior wall box matches the 8.5-inch by 13-inch fixture footprint before mounting. No dimming or smart hardware is built in, so add a compatible dimmer separately if desired.

Additional Buying Context

Livex Lighting includes an installation sheet with the Monterey lantern, and its damp/wet-location rating supports reliable outdoor performance across Canadian seasons. It is a solid match for buyers replacing a worn traditional coach light with a brass, beveled-glass alternative.
