Outdoor Lights

Key Features and Benefits of This Outdoor Wall Light

This fixture's cast aluminum body resists the elements for long-term outdoor use, while the textured black finish complements traditional and transitional home exteriors. The clear seeded glass shade diffuses light softly and adds vintage character. It accepts one 150W medium base bulb, sold separately, for bright entryway illumination.

Where to Use the 9356BKT Outdoor Wall Light

The 9356BKT suits front entries, covered porches, garages, and exterior walls exposed directly to rain or snow thanks to its wet location rating. Its Tournai styling is built for exterior use rather than interior decor. No bulb is included, so a compatible A19 medium base bulb must be purchased separately.

Installation and Compatibility Checks

This wall lantern mounts to a standard exterior electrical junction box; confirm the box and wall surface can support its cast aluminum weight before installing. It takes one medium (E26) base A19 bulb rated up to 150W, not included. Always verify local electrical code for wet location outdoor wiring.

Additional Buying Context

The Tournai 9356BKT works well as a retrofit for dated porch or entry fixtures, instantly updating curb appeal with minimal wiring changes. Since the bulb is sold separately, budget for a compatible A19 lamp at checkout. Check Kichler's warranty terms and ask about matching post or pendant lanterns in the same collection.
