Wall Mounts

Key Features and Benefits of This Outdoor Lantern

Coastal Armour construction matters because it targets the corrosion that salt air and humidity cause in standard outdoor fixtures, extending service life near the coast. The E26 medium base socket accepts a single 100 watt rated bulb, giving buyers a choice between incandescent or compatible LED bulbs.

Where to Use the ANC8407MBK Anchorage Lantern

This lantern suits front entryways, garages, and exterior walls, and is well suited to coastal or high humidity climates given its Coastal Armour build. It works well installed singly or in a matching pair flanking a doorway. Its ETL Listed certification supports safe use in exterior wall applications.

Installation and Compatibility Checks

The Anchorage mounts to a standard outdoor wall electrical box and requires a 120V circuit and one E26 medium base bulb, sold separately, rated up to 100 watts. Confirm outdoor rated bulbs are used and check local code for any GFCI (Ground Fault Circuit Interrupter) requirements near entry points.

Additional Buying Context

Quoizel backs the Anchorage with a 5-year limited warranty, longer than the 1-year terms common on many decorative fixtures, which is a meaningful consideration for outdoor products exposed to weather. ETL Listed certification confirms it meets recognized safety standards for exterior lighting.
