Wall Mounts

Key Features and Benefits of This Outdoor Wall Lantern

A wet location rating means it can handle direct rain and snow exposure, unlike fixtures rated only for damp areas. The textured black finish resists showing fingerprints and weathering marks better than smooth finishes. Clear glass panels let more light through for brighter entryway illumination.

Where to Use the 76186-14 Wall Lantern

Ideal for front entry doors, garage sidewalls, and covered or open porches exposed to weather. The wet location rating confirms it can be mounted where rain or snow will reach it directly, unlike many indoor-only fixtures.

Installation and Compatibility Checks

Mounts to an exterior wall junction box. Uses two candelabra-base E12 bulbs up to 60 watts each, not included. Check local exterior wiring codes and weatherproof box requirements before installation.

Additional Buying Context

Since bulbs are sold separately, buyers should choose weather-appropriate candelabra bulbs rated for outdoor use. The wet location rating is a key differentiator from indoor or damp-only fixtures when shopping for true exterior lighting.
