Semi-Flush Mounts

Key Features and Benefits of This Semi-Flush Mount

The extra-large drum shade, off-white outside and white inside, diffuses the light from six bulbs into a warm, even glow. At 11.25 inches tall, the semi-flush profile gives a fuller look than a flush mount while keeping more headroom than a hanging chandelier.

Where to Use the 45798-91 Semi-Flush Mount

This fixture suits living rooms, dining rooms, front entrances, and bedrooms with enough floor area for a 30-inch wide shade. It carries a damp location rating, which allows covered or humid indoor areas, but it is not described as suitable for wet or open outdoor locations.

Installation and Compatibility Checks

The fixture holds six medium-base bulbs of up to 60 watts each. Page data does not say whether bulbs are included or whether the fixture is dimmable, so confirm both before ordering. Check ceiling height against the 11.25-inch drop, and review the linked installation sheet before purchase.

Additional Buying Context

This fixture belongs to the Meridian collection, so look for other Meridian pieces if you want to coordinate styles. Warranty terms are not stated on the product page, so check the manufacturer warranty link. Choose bulb color temperature carefully, since the fabric shade will tint the light.
