Key Features and Benefits of This LED Flush Mount

This fixture produces 1140 lumens at a warm 3000K color temperature with an 80 CRI rating, giving reasonable color accuracy for everyday rooms. Its dimmable design lets homeowners adjust brightness for different times of day. The low-profile 4-inch depth suits ceilings with limited clearance above.

Where to Use the L680112FP010A1 LED Flush Mount

This flush mount suits dry indoor locations such as bedrooms, hallways, closets, and laundry rooms where a compact ceiling light is needed. Its CSA listing confirms it meets Canadian safety standards for these dry-location residential uses. It is not rated for damp or wet areas like bathrooms or covered exteriors.

Installation and Compatibility Checks

Confirm the ceiling junction box can support the fixture's 12.75-inch by 12.75-inch footprint and weight before mounting. Since it is dimmable, use a dimmer switch rated for LED loads to avoid flickering or buzzing. Verify the intended room qualifies as a dry location before installing this fixture.

Additional Buying Context

This flush mount is a practical upgrade for replacing an older incandescent or fluorescent ceiling fixture with an integrated LED that will not need separate bulb replacement for years. Confirm current Galaxy Lighting warranty terms before purchase. It also suits builders standardizing fixtures across multiple bedrooms or hallways in a project.
