Key Features and Benefits of This LED HID Replacement Lamp

Field-selectable CCT (correlated color temperature) lets installers choose 3000K, 4000K, or 5000K on site, reducing the number of SKUs a contractor needs to stock. Operating on 100-277V universal input, the lamp fits a wide range of commercial voltage systems. Its 80 CRI (Color Rendering Index) supports acceptable color accuracy for general area lighting.

Where to Use the LED36WPTCCTMED-G8 LED HID Replacement Lamp

This lamp suits wall packs, post top fixtures, and other E26 medium-base HID housings in commercial and outdoor settings. Because the color temperature is field selectable rather than dimmable, it is best suited to installations where brightness stays fixed but color temperature can be tuned to match surrounding fixtures.

Installation and Compatibility Checks

Confirm the existing fixture uses a standard E26 medium base and can accommodate the lamp's shape before ordering, since this is a direct lamp replacement rather than a full fixture. Select the desired CCT setting during installation, as it is typically set once and not adjustable remotely. Verify the fixture's line voltage falls within the 100-277V range.

Additional Buying Context

The field-selectable color temperature feature simplifies inventory for contractors handling multiple HID retrofit projects with different lighting needs. This lamp is intended as a direct replacement for existing HID lamps in compatible E26 fixtures, letting facilities upgrade lighting efficiency without replacing the fixture housing itself.
