Plusrite FL24-T5-835-HO 24W T5 Mini Bi-Pin Fluorescent Lamp
$5.99Key Features and Benefits of This T5 Lamp
A rated life of 20,000 hours matters because it reduces how often maintenance crews need to access fixtures, especially in hard to reach commercial ceilings. Delivering about 2000 lumens at 24 watts gives reasonable output for the wattage, useful for retrofitting older, less efficient T5 or T8 fixtures.
Where to Use the FL24-T5-835-HO Lamp
This lamp suits under cabinet lighting, display cases, and general fixtures built for T5 mini bi-pin tubes in offices, retail spaces, and homes. It is a replacement lamp only and requires a fixture with a compatible G5 socket and ballast, not a standalone fixture.
Installation and Compatibility Checks
Confirm your fixture uses a G5 mini bi-pin socket and a ballast rated for 24 watt T5 HO (High Output) lamps before purchasing, since mismatched ballasts can shorten lamp life or prevent proper operation. This lamp is not designed for dimming circuits unless the ballast specifically supports it.
Additional Buying Context
At 22.2 inches long, the FL24-T5-835-HO is a direct replacement option for existing T5 fixtures reaching end of life, helping buyers avoid a full fixture swap. Its 3500K color temperature pairs well with spaces already lit by similar warm white lamps for consistent appearance.

$5.99Key Features and Benefits of This Fluorescent Lamp
At 2100 lumens from 21 watts, this lamp delivers solid output for a fluorescent tube of its size. A CRI of 85 renders colors more accurately than lower-CRI lamps, useful in retail or display lighting. A rated 20,000-hour life reduces how often the lamp needs replacing in fixtures with regular runtime.
Where to Use the FL21-T5-835 Lamp
This lamp suits under-cabinet lighting, display cases, and commercial fixtures built for 33.39-inch T5 mini bi-pin tubes. It is intended as a direct lamp replacement rather than for fixtures using a different base or tube length, so confirm fixture compatibility before ordering.
Installation and Compatibility Checks
The FL21-T5-835 requires a fixture with a G5 mini bi-pin socket and a compatible T5 ballast; it is not a plug-and-play LED replacement. Confirm the existing ballast is rated for a 21-watt T5 lamp before installing, since a mismatched ballast can affect performance or lamp life.
Additional Buying Context
As a direct fluorescent replacement lamp, the FL21-T5-835 suits maintenance stock for buildings still running T5 fixtures rather than a full LED retrofit. Its 3500K warm-white output matches common existing T5 lamps, making it a straightforward match when replacing burned-out tubes in bulk.
