Recessed Light Trims

Key Features and Benefits of This Recessed Trim

This trim is built for 4-inch gimbal-style LED pot lights, supporting full 360-degree beam adjustment so installers can aim light toward artwork, counters, or task areas. The black finish helps the trim blend into darker ceilings and recesses, reducing glare and visual contrast compared to a standard white trim.

Where to Use the SL4G-TR-BK-V2 LED Trim

This trim suits kitchens, hallways, and living spaces where a 4-inch gimbal pot light needs directional aiming and a discreet black appearance. It is intended for dry indoor locations and compatible 4-inch gimbal housings, not as a universal trim for other recessed light sizes or styles.

Installation and Compatibility Checks

Confirm the existing or planned pot light housing is a 4-inch gimbal-style fixture compatible with this trim before ordering. Since it is dimmable-compatible, pair it with a dimmer rated for the LED module inside. Check that trim color and finish match the surrounding ceiling and other fixtures for a consistent look.

Additional Buying Context

Homeowners updating a room's look can swap a standard white trim for this black option without replacing the entire pot light housing, provided sizes match. It is a low-cost way to refresh recessed lighting during a renovation. Confirm current stock and finish availability with Lumenco before finalizing larger orders.
