Galaxy Lighting 437BZ White Recessed Trim
$32.99Key Features and Benefits of This Recessed Trim
This trim accepts a single bulb rated up to 150 watts or 120 watts depending on lamp type, giving flexibility when choosing brightness. Its White finish blends into most ceilings, and the damp location rating extends its use to covered porches and other areas with occasional moisture.
Where to Use the 437BZ Recessed Trim
This trim suits kitchens, bathrooms, covered porches, and other areas rated for damp conditions where a clean, low-profile recessed look is wanted. It should not be installed in fully wet locations, such as direct exposure to rain or shower spray, without additional wet-rated hardware.
Installation and Compatibility Checks
Before ordering, confirm this trim's dimensions match your existing recessed housing, since trims are not universal across brands and housing sizes. Bulbs are sold separately, and installation or bulb changes involving ceiling wiring should follow local electrical code and be handled by a qualified electrician.
Additional Buying Context
Replacing a recessed trim is a cost-effective way to refresh dated ceiling fixtures without rewiring, provided the new trim fits the existing housing. Choose a bulb suited to the damp rating and wattage limit, and keep the CSA listing in mind when confirming code compliance for the space.

Where to Use the 508BLK-1 Recessed Trim
This trim suits bathrooms, covered porches, mudrooms, and other spaces rated for damp conditions where a Bronze accent is preferred over standard finishes. It is not intended for fully wet locations, such as direct rain or shower spray, without additional wet-rated hardware.
Installation and Compatibility Checks
Confirm this trim's dimensions match your existing recessed housing before purchasing, since trims vary by brand and housing size and are rarely interchangeable. The bulb is sold separately, and any work involving ceiling wiring should follow local electrical code and be completed by a qualified electrician.
Additional Buying Context
Swapping a recessed trim is an affordable way to update a ceiling's look without replacing the entire housing, provided the fit matches. Choose a bulb within the 65 to 75-watt limit, and confirm the damp rating suits your intended room before finalizing the purchase.
