Tube Lights

Key Features and Benefits of This T5 LED Tube

At 9 watts, the tube delivers 1,150 lumens, which cuts energy use compared with the 14-watt fluorescent it replaces. The 3500K light is a neutral white with a CRI (Color Rendering Index) of 80 or higher. TCP lists a 50,000-hour rated life, so lamp changes should be infrequent.

Where to Use the LT5HE09B135K T5 LED Tube

This tube suits T5 fixtures in dry or damp interior spaces, such as hallways, back-of-house areas, utility rooms, and covered commercial spaces. It is not listed for wet locations. If you prefer a warmer or cooler appearance than 3500K, look for a different color temperature.

Installation and Compatibility Checks

This is a ballast bypass tube, so the existing fluorescent ballast is not used and the fixture must be wired accordingly. Follow the manufacturer's instructions and have a qualified person do the work. Confirm the fixture takes a 2-foot T5 lamp with a G5 base. Dimming is not listed.

Additional Buying Context

TCP backs this tube with a 5-year manufacturer warranty. It is listed to cRUus, ETL, and UL/CSA standards. Check the linked specification sheet for wiring details before you order several tubes for a larger retrofit project.
