Tube Lights

Key Features and Benefits of This LED Tube

Selectable color temperature (3500K, 4000K, 5000K, or 6500K) lets installers match existing lighting in a space without stocking multiple SKUs (stock keeping units). At 2000 lumens from 16 watts, it offers better efficiency than a comparable fluorescent circline tube. DLC (DesignLights Consortium) and UL (Underwriters Laboratories) listings support use in commercial retrofit and rebate programs.

Where to Use the L16WT9-C12-ABP-FCCT-U Tube

With a wet location rating and an operating range of -20C to 45C, this tube suits covered outdoor fixtures, garages, and unconditioned spaces in addition to standard indoor circline fixtures. Its IP20 rating still calls for an enclosed fixture housing rather than direct open-air exposure.

Installation and Compatibility Checks

This tube fits a G10q base circline fixture and operates across a 120-277V range, covering most commercial and residential circuits. It is dimmable, but confirm the fixture's existing dimmer is compatible before relying on that feature. Confirm ballast bypass or compatibility details for the specific fixture being retrofitted.

Additional Buying Context

A 5-year manufacturer warranty stands out for an LED retrofit lamp in this category, useful when comparing total cost of ownership against replacing an entire circline fixture. RoHS (Restriction of Hazardous Substances) compliance may also matter for facilities with environmental purchasing requirements.
