Nuvo Lighting 62-1396 White Outdoor Ceiling Light

Wet-Location LED Cage Lantern Ceiling Light by Nuvo Lighting

The 62-1396 from Nuvo Lighting is an integrated LED cage lantern ceiling light designed for outdoor covered spaces. It is suitable for wet-location installations. Key features include a white finish with a white linen acrylic shade and a 745-lumen output at 14 watts.

Key Features and Benefits of This LED Outdoor Ceiling Light

The integrated LED draws 14 watts for light equal to a 60-watt incandescent, which helps keep energy costs down. The 3000K warm tone with 90 CRI (Color Rendering Index) shows finishes and colours naturally. It is dimmable, so you can lower the glow for evenings.

Where to Use the 62-1396 LED Outdoor Ceiling Light

This fixture is well suited for porches, entryways, and patios where a traditional lantern style fits the exterior. Its wet-location rating allows exposure to moisture, and it operates from -17°C to +45°C, which covers typical Canadian conditions.

Installation and Compatibility Checks

Before purchasing, verify that your supply is 120V and that your dimmer is compatible with LED loads, since the LED is integrated and cannot be swapped for another bulb. The fixture measures 7.8 inches wide by 9.85 inches high, so check clearance at the mounting location.

Additional Buying Context

The fixture is cETLus listed and RoHS compliant, and it carries a 5-year manufacturer warranty. The rated life is 50,000 hours. Because the light source is built in, plan to replace the whole fixture rather than a bulb at end of life.
