250-400 Watt Metal Halide Equal

Key Features and Benefits of This Flood Light

At 9040 lumens from 80 watts, this fixture delivers strong illumination while using less energy than comparable HID (High Intensity Discharge) floods. The IP65 rating keeps out dust and water jets, and a 30,000 hour rated life reduces how often the fixture needs replacing outdoors.

Where to Use the 65-731 Flood Light

This flood light suits building exteriors, parking areas, loading docks, and yard lighting where a wide 120 degree beam angle is useful. Its wet location rating and -30°C to 45°C operating range make it suitable for exposed outdoor installations in Canadian climates.

Installation and Compatibility Checks

This fixture is not dimmable, so it should not be paired with a dimmer switch or dimming control system. It carries cULus (Canadian and US Underwriters Laboratories) listing and FCC certification, confirming it meets recognized North American electrical safety standards for its wet location application.

Additional Buying Context

Satco backs this flood light with a 3 year manufacturer warranty, giving buyers coverage against defects during outdoor use. Its RoHS (Restriction of Hazardous Substances) compliance and cULus listing provide added assurance for contractors specifying fixtures for commercial or municipal outdoor lighting projects.
