Wet-Location Recessed LED Canopy Light by Venture Lighting

The CP13382 Cascade from Venture Lighting is a 27-watt recessed LED canopy light designed for covered outdoor and industrial areas. It is suitable for wet locations. Key features include 4,100 lumens at 4000K, a heavy-duty aluminum body, and an IP66 rating.

Key Features and Benefits of This Canopy Light

At 27 watts, it is listed as replacing HID fixtures of up to 150 watts, which can cut energy use. It is dimmable and accepts 120 to 277 volts, so it fits many building supplies. Its 50,000 hour average life reduces how often you reach for a ladder.

Where to Use the CP13382 Canopy Light

This canopy light is well suited for covered entrances, walkways, and similar spaces where durable recessed lighting is needed. Its wet-location and IP66 ratings support exposure to moisture, and its 4000K, CRI 70 or higher light gives neutral, practical illumination rather than color-critical lighting.

Installation and Compatibility Checks

The fixture is IC rated, meaning it is listed for contact with insulation, and operates from -40 to 40 degrees Celsius. The page lists it as dimmable but does not name compatible dimmers, so confirm that before purchase. Check cutout and fit dimensions on the specification sheet.

Additional Buying Context

The fixture is cETLus and DLC listed, which can matter when applying for utility rebates, so confirm eligibility locally. It carries a 5-year manufacturer warranty. The finish is white, so make sure it suits the surrounding ceiling.
