American Lighting TL-5JUMP6-COB Tape Light Accessory 6" Hd Jumper Rgbw Cob
$16.99Key Features and Benefits of This Tape Light Connector
The 5-pin connector design lets installers join tape sections without soldering, which saves time on site. Its 6 inch length bridges gaps such as corners or transitions between runs. Because it supports 5-pin RGBW tape, color and white channel signals carry through the connection without loss.
Where to Use the TL-5JUMP6-COB Tape Light Connector
Use this jumper wherever a 12mm, 5-pin RGBW COB tape run needs to continue around a corner or past a gap, such as under-cabinet or cove lighting. It is built specifically for 5-pin tape and is not compatible with single-color or 2-pin tape systems.
Installation and Compatibility Checks
Confirm your COB tape light uses a 12mm width and a 5-pin RGBW pinout before ordering, since this connector will not fit narrower or differently configured tape. No soldering tools are required, but the crimp or clip connection should be checked for continuity after installation.
Additional Buying Context
Because COB tape lighting projects often include multiple direction changes, keeping a few of these connectors on hand simplifies planning corner and gap transitions in longer runs. Pair it with matching 12mm, 5-pin RGBW tape from American Lighting for a consistent connection type throughout the installation.
