American Lighting 5LCS-EX6-BK Led 5 Complete Undercabinet Linking Cable 6" In Black
$22.99Key Features and Benefits of This Linking Cable
The 3-pin male and female connectors at both ends matter because they let installers daisy-chain multiple under-cabinet fixtures without cutting or splicing wire. The 18 AWG (American Wire Gauge) rating is sized for low-voltage under-cabinet runs, matching American Lighting's compatible fixture line.
Where to Use the 5LCS-EX6-BK Linking Cable
Intended for indoor kitchen and cabinetry installations where under-cabinet LED bars need to be linked across a short 6-inch gap, such as between adjacent cabinets. It is rated for dry locations only, so it is not suitable for kitchens with heavy moisture exposure or outdoor cabinetry.
Installation and Compatibility Checks
Connects via matching 3-pin inserts, so confirm the under-cabinet fixture uses the same connector style before ordering. No tools or wire stripping are required for the connection itself. It is intended specifically as a linking accessory, not a standalone power cable.
Additional Buying Context
UL certified, giving buyers a recognized safety mark for low-voltage lighting accessories. As a short 6-inch jumper, it pairs best with American Lighting's under-cabinet fixture systems that require this exact connector type for extending a run.
