Key Features and Benefits of This Outdoor Post Lantern

Solid brass construction resists corrosion better than many painted-steel alternatives, an important factor for fixtures exposed to Canadian winters. The wet location rating means it can handle direct rain and snow without additional covering, and the clear beveled glass panels let the three candelabra bulbs cast a warm, traditional glow across your walkway or driveway.

Where to Use the 2354-07 Outdoor Post Lantern

This lantern is built for exterior use atop a compatible outdoor post, lighting driveways, front walkways, and garden paths in a colonial or traditional style. Its wet location rating allows fully exposed outdoor placement, but it is not designed for interior use or for direct mounting to a wall or ceiling.

Installation and Compatibility Checks

This lantern requires a separate outdoor post sold to fit its base, and it uses three candelabra-base bulbs rated up to 60 watts each, which are not included. Confirm your post's mounting thread matches before ordering, and check local exterior wiring codes for post-light circuits before installation.

Additional Buying Context

Livex Lighting pairs this Monterey lantern with a matching installation instruction sheet, useful for contractors setting up multiple outdoor fixtures on one property. Since bulbs are not included, budget for three candelabra-base bulbs suited to wet locations, and consider matching wall or hanging lanterns from the same Monterey collection for a cohesive exterior look.
