Key Features and Benefits of This Outdoor Post Lantern

Three separate candelabra sockets spread the 180-watt total load evenly, producing brighter, more consistent light than a single-bulb post lantern. Solid brass construction resists corrosion over time, which matters for a fixture left outdoors year-round. Beveled glass panels add classic detail on all sides.

Where to Use the 2384-04 Post Lantern

This post lantern suits driveway entrances, yard posts, and walkway markers where a damp/wet-rated, higher-output fixture is wanted. Its 21.5-inch height gives strong presence at ground level. It is sold separately from any mounting post, so confirm post compatibility before ordering.

Installation and Compatibility Checks

The fixture takes three candelabra-base bulbs rated up to 60 watts each, so LED candelabra bulbs are a straightforward swap. Confirm your outdoor post accepts a 12-inch by 12-inch fixture base. No smart or dimming controls are integrated, so external photocells or timers must be added separately.

Additional Buying Context

Livex Lighting includes installation documentation with the Westover lantern, and its damp/wet-location rating supports dependable year-round outdoor use. It suits buyers wanting a historic, gas-lamp-inspired look with modern electric convenience for a driveway or entrance post.
