Key Features and Benefits of This Semi Flush Mount

The hanging crystal rods catch and scatter light in multiple directions, which matters for creating a focal point in an entryway or dining room rather than flat, even lighting. The natural brass finish develops character over time rather than staying uniformly polished.

Where to Use the 48872-08 Semi Flush Mount

This fixture suits foyers, dining rooms, and living rooms where a statement ceiling piece is wanted. Its damp location rating allows use in areas with normal indoor humidity, though it is not intended for direct wet exposure or outdoor installations.

Installation and Compatibility Checks

The fixture mounts close to the ceiling and uses three candelabra base sockets rated up to 60 watts each. Given the crystal rod accents, confirm adequate ceiling clearance and a level mounting surface before installation to keep the rods hanging evenly.

Additional Buying Context

Because the Orenburg uses replaceable candelabra base bulbs, buyers can select warmer or cooler LED bulbs to complement the natural brass finish over time. Its 13 inch diameter also suits foyers or dining areas where a compact but visually striking fixture is preferred.
