Key Features and Benefits of This Semi-Flush Mount

The hand-blown seeded glass shade gives each fixture subtle texture variation, so no two look identical. The polished brass finish avoids the dated look of flatter gold tones and suits transitional decor. A compact 12.5 inch height keeps ceiling clearance in rooms where a pendant would hang too low.

Where to Use the 5024-02 Semi-Flush Mount

Well suited to hallways, closets, and bedrooms with standard 8 foot ceilings needing a low-profile fixture. It also works in damp areas like enclosed porches, though it is not rated for wet or fully exposed outdoor locations.

Installation and Compatibility Checks

Mounts flush to the ceiling with the included hardware, wired to a standard junction box. Uses three candelabra-base bulbs rated up to 40 watts each, sold separately. Check ceiling box spacing against the 11.25 inch diameter before ordering, since no stem extension is included.

Additional Buying Context

The damp location rating gives buyers flexibility for covered porches or ventilated bathrooms, not just dry living spaces. Since bulbs are not included, warm-white candelabra bulbs will best complement the seeded glass shade's traditional look.
