Key Features and Benefits of This Extension Stem

The 12-inch length lets installers lower a pendant to the correct height over a table or island, which matters since fixtures are often designed with a shorter stock stem that does not suit every ceiling. The Kentucky Bronze finish keeps the hardware visually consistent with the fixture above.

Where to Use the STR04512KB-MS Extension Stem

This stem is intended for indoor pendant installations over kitchen islands, dining tables, or entryways where added drop is needed. It is a fixture accessory rather than a standalone light, so it must pair with a compatible pendant.

Installation and Compatibility Checks

Confirm this stem is rated for your specific Maxim pendant model, since fixture stems are typically finish and diameter matched rather than universal. Its slim 0.45-inch width should be checked against the fixture's canopy and stem fitting before purchase.

Additional Buying Context

Extension stems let buyers adapt one fixture design to different ceiling heights without buying a new light. It is also available in Satin Nickel and Black finishes to match other Maxim fixture lines.
