Key Features and Benefits of This Extension Stem

A 12-inch stem gives installers more flexibility to position a pendant at the ideal height, which matters over kitchen islands and dining tables where the standard stock stem may leave the fixture too high. The Satin Nickel finish is designed to blend seamlessly with the fixture it extends.

Where to Use the STR04812SN-YL Extension Stem

This stem is intended for indoor pendant installations in kitchens, dining areas, and entryways needing extra drop. As a fixture accessory, it only works paired with a compatible Maxim pendant, not as a standalone product.

Installation and Compatibility Checks

Verify this stem matches the finish and stem diameter of your specific Maxim pendant model before ordering, since stems are typically fixture-specific rather than universal. Check the fixture's canopy fitting to confirm compatibility.

Additional Buying Context

Extension stems allow one pendant design to be adapted to different ceiling heights instead of purchasing an entirely new fixture. It is also available in Kentucky Bronze and Black finishes for other Maxim fixture collections.
