Dimmer Switches (Dual Function)

Key Features and Benefits of This Dimmer

Dimming lets you set the light level for the room and can help save energy and extend bulb life. The tri-color finish covers white, ivory, and light almond, so one product fits different room palettes. The 700VA rating gives capacity for several magnetic low-voltage fixtures on one control.

Where to Use the RHLV703PTC Dimmer

This dimmer suits living rooms, dining rooms, and other interior spaces where magnetic low-voltage fixtures such as halogen low-voltage lighting are installed. It can control one location or one of two locations in a 3-way circuit. It is not listed for LED loads, so do not use it with LED lamps.

Installation and Compatibility Checks

Match the dimmer to your load type. It is for magnetic low-voltage loads, so confirm your transformer type before purchase. The listing does not state whether a neutral is needed. The dimmer is made only for radiant screwless wall plates, which are sold separately.

Additional Buying Context

The dimmer is cULus and UL Listed. A specification sheet and an installation sheet are available on the product page. Warranty terms are not stated, so confirm them with the supplier. Add the matching radiant wall plate to complete the installation.
