Ceiling Lights

Key Features and Benefits of This LED Cylinder Light

This fixture pairs a 35W dimmable LED engine with field-selectable uplight and downlight modes, letting installers adjust light direction without swapping hardware. Multiple beam angle options support both broad ambient coverage and focused accent lighting. The matte black housing resists fingerprints and blends into modern ceiling designs, reducing visual clutter in finished spaces.

Where to Use the CYLUX6-LED35-H-VK-CD-BLK-DIM-CM LED Cylinder Light

This cylinder light works well in lobbies, corridors, retail ceilings, and covered outdoor walkways where dry, damp, or wet conditions apply. Its architectural profile also suits restaurants and office common areas seeking a clean ceiling-mounted accent. It is not intended for fully submerged or hazardous-location installations.

Installation and Compatibility Checks

Confirm the ceiling junction box supports the fixture weight and mounting pattern before installation. Since it is dimmable, pair it with a compatible dimmer switch rated for LED loads to avoid flicker. Verify the intended location's moisture exposure matches dry, damp, or wet ratings, and check clearance for the beam spread.

Additional Buying Context

Contractors upgrading older can or surface fixtures can use this cylinder light as a modern LED retrofit for architectural ceilings. Its dual uplight/downlight function can reduce the number of fixture types needed on a job. Confirm current manufacturer warranty terms and dimmer compatibility lists with RAB Design before large-volume orders.
