How We Calculate Your Shipping
Your free shipping threshold depends on the type of lighting you're ordering. Here's the breakdown for each category:
Decorative Lighting
Excludes recessed & track lighting, which follow the Functional & Commercial rates below.
Functional & Commercial Lighting
All order values are calculated before taxes. Shipping rates apply to standard delivery addresses within Canada.
Free Shipping Eligibility
We offer complimentary shipping on qualifying orders within Canada (before taxes). Eligibility depends on the lighting category purchased:
Decorative Lighting
Free shipping on orders $99 or more. Includes chandeliers, pendants, wall sconces, table lamps, floor lamps, and more.
⚠ Excludes recessed & track lighting systems
Functional & Commercial Lighting
Free shipping on orders $1,000 or more. Includes LED panels, high bays, recessed lighting, track systems, exterior fixtures, and commercial-grade products.
Standard Exclusions
The following items or conditions are excluded from our free shipping policy:
- ! Oversized Items — Products identified as oversized, or requiring freight shipping due to their physical characteristics (47 inches or more in any dimension), are subject to shipping charges regardless of order value.
- ! Clearance & Final Sale Items — Products marked as "Final Sale" or "Clearance" do not qualify for free shipping.
- ! Recessed & Track Lighting — These categories do not qualify for the $99 decorative lighting free shipping threshold and follow the commercial lighting rules instead.
Remote Area Surcharges
Our free shipping policy applies to most standard routes across Canada. However, addresses designated as "Remote Areas" by our carriers may be subject to additional fees.

To ensure timely delivery, please verify that your shipping address is complete and accurate before finalizing your order.
Redirect & Return Fees
If a package is returned to us, or requires redirection due to an address error or missing information provided by the customer, the customer is responsible for the return shipping costs and/or reshipment fees.
Shipping FAQ
Does my order qualify for free shipping?
For decorative lighting (chandeliers, pendants, wall sconces, etc.), your order qualifies for free shipping at $99 or more before taxes. For functional and commercial lighting — including recessed lighting, LED panels, high bays, and track systems — the threshold is $1,000 or more. Clearance items and oversized products (47" and up) are excluded.
How much does shipping cost if I don't qualify for free shipping?
We offer two flat-rate options: $25 for orders between $500 and $999, and $35 for orders under $500. These rates apply to standard delivery addresses across Canada.
What is a "remote area" and will I be charged extra?
Remote areas are locations designated by our shipping carriers as outside standard delivery zones — typically rural or northern addresses. If your address falls into this category, we will contact you before shipping to inform you of any surcharge. You will never be charged without your consent. Not sure if your address qualifies? Why doesn't recessed lighting qualify for the $99 free shipping threshold?
Recessed lighting and track lighting systems are classified as functional/commercial lighting rather than decorative lighting. They follow the $1,000 free shipping threshold instead. This distinction is based on product type and shipping characteristics, not price alone.
What happens if I enter the wrong shipping address?
If a package is returned or requires redirection due to an address error or missing information on your end, you'll be responsible for the return shipping costs and/or reshipment fees. Please double-check your shipping address before completing your order. If you notice an error right after placing your order, contact us immediately and we'll do our best to correct it before it ships.
Do you ship outside Canada?
At this time, Lumenco ships within Canada only. Our shipping rates and free shipping thresholds apply exclusively to Canadian addresses.
